About Me
Merve Bulut received her bachelor’s degree from Kirikkale University, Department of Industrial Engineering in 2018 and master’s degree in 2021. She started her PhD in the same department in 2021 and has been entitled to receive the “100/2000 CoHE Doctoral Scholarship” during her thesis process in order to meet the need for doctoral human resources in 100 priority thematic areas determined by the Council of Higher Education (CoHE, in Turkish stands for YÖK).
In 2023, within the scope of the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (its abbreviation is TÜBİTAK) 2211- C National PhD Scholarship Program in the Priority Fields in Science and Technology 2023/1, she has been entitled to be supported for the doctoral period under the titles of “Energy Storage Technologies, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Big Data and Data Analytics” with her doctoral thesis proposal titled “Battery Energy Storage Market Design in the Policy – Market – Symbiosis Triangle”.
In addition, between 2021-2023, she carried out academic and commercial studies as a Project Manager at Labornia Energy INC., which produces meaningful decisions from data and offers sustainable engineering solutions by using artificial intelligence and machine learning methods in the energy storage, generation, and distribution main pillars of the energy sector, and carried out high-budget sectoral projects.
Academic and commercial research on secondary stationary batteries under market, policy and symbiosis concepts.
Integration of special fuzzy numbers into multi criteria decision making methods while obtaining consistent and broad spectrum results for conflicting and contradictory interests or objectives.
Gaining insight into the dynamics of stationary batteries in the policy-market-symbiosis triangle by using open databases and classifying hidden connections.
Optimization solutions for problems in operation, personnel, generation and maintenance departments, from the main system to auxiliary systems, especially in hydroelectric power plants and natural gas combined cycle power plants in electricity generation.
